Meteor? Here at home? We heard a sonic boom – literally.

The other night, my husband and I were awakened at our home in Norrisville by a sound that was between an explosion and an earthquake. It shook our house. The rumble was so very big, we couldn’t imagine what it was. My son while on X-Box live with his friends in Jarrettsville all at the same time said, “What the heck was that?”… so many people around here heard it.  It was so big and loud, we couldn’t figure out why the news was not covering it…

Apparently enough people got together to discuss and found out it was a ball of flame/meteor going across the sky… a security camera even caught it on tape!  There are people hunting for remnants – I hope they find something!
