More horror / theatrical makeup….. | Whatever Wednesdays

Since this is Whatever Wednesday, I thought I would follow up a little more on yesterday’s Walking Dead post and show a bit more of the special effects makeup my daughter is teaching herself.

What did your daughter do on Christmas Eve?  Here’s what mine did……  Well, let me step back for a second…. a few days earlier, we were in Joann Fabrics.  Erynn said, “I’ll be right back” and left….. she came back holding a bunch of stuff in her arms.  I didn’t think anything about it until Christmas Eve, she was so quiet all morning.  I had just decided to start doing some cooking and she came downstairs like this.  She had a note in her hand as she didn’t want to speak with her face done up.  I quickly grabbed my brand new beauty dish, that I have never used before and started shooting this for her.
This is her steampunk inspired makeup…..  again, to reiterate since many have asked me – no, I don’t help Erynn out with this stuff.  The first time she did this, she was using Elmer’s glue, toilet paper, and paint….  liquid latex has opened up new doors for her 😉
