Twins!!! | Baltimore Maryland Photographer

I’ve seen quite a few twins this year. In fact, I just photographed a set of twin newborn boys yesterday… this, however, is a set of twins - brother and sister… I was amazed how much the little girl looks like mom and the little boy looks like dad! They were too cute and sooooo quiet and sleepy…

A note to my fellow photographers: I’ve received a few emails about this lately - yes, you are right, I have been playing with some new post processing techniques - you did indeed spot that, so stop rubbing your eyes… it’s subtle, but you noticed it! lol! More on that later - it’s mainly for the natural light images and I will discuss that a little tomorrow, with an announcement…

Identical Twins - Children’s Photography

Having two children of my own, ages 12 and 9, thinking back to when I had them, I could have never imagined the doctor saying you have multiples… let alone - Identical Twins - what an amazing experience this must be! These two girls were precious!

The Big Book of Babies - PUBLISHED

This post is long overdue. 13 of my images are published in the Big Book of Babies edited by J.C. Suares. (Just to be clear, this is not my Lighting Book). This is a completely different book, 384 pages, as you can see from the following photos… available in your local book stores such as Barnes and Noble, Greetings and Readings, etc. as well as online.

The Workshop BOOK….

We’ve been incredibly busy preparing for the first workshop coming up at the beginning of April. The books (no, not workbooks, but real books - 70-80 pages) are going to print this week. Here is one of the spreads….

Child and Baby Photography book

All of the attendees will be receiving a copy of this book to take home. It includes lighting diagrams, a few “pullback” views of lighting, how to work with newborns, tips on working with children in studio, how to photograph pregnancy in an artistic way, and explanations of everything I do to achieve soft natural-looking lighting but using studio flash as well as my simple post processing tips - with screen shots.
